Lessons learned? Plenty. After twenty years of designing, creating, and collaborating with teams, I've gained insights from both success and failure. In fact, many of my career advancements have come from navigating both—just like I’m sure you’ve experienced. In today’s fast-paced world, with countless companies and brands competing for the top spot, there’s one constant equalizer: time. If there's one thing I’ve learned, it's that success comes from doing your research, knowing your audience, and committing to a strategy with the discipline to refine and adapt along the way. Hi, I’m Brian Hays—designer, communicator, and marketer with a deep background in an array of tools and techniques. My journey began in graphic design, my first love. There’s nothing like the challenge of a blank canvas and the thrill of turning a concept into reality. Over the years, I’ve expanded my skills from multimedia (remember Flash?) to almost every kind of design you can imagine, from full-scale brand design and development to event planning and execution.
Along the way, I’ve had the chance to collaborate with programmers, writers, voice talent, and more. These experiences have given me a solid understanding of the challenges each discipline faces, allowing me to approach projects with a broader perspective.
Today, as a marketing professional, I bring all of that experience together in what I call theGROWTHPROject (GP2.ai). GP2 is about building success through leadership, by bringing the right mix of talent and strategy to the table. There’s no magic formula for guaranteed success, which is why having a solid plan is crucial.
My diverse experience in design, development, and marketing gives me a unique ability to know when and how to deploy the right resources for a project. Rarely can one person do it all, and do it well—that’s why I’m building GPP. It’s about growth: growth in your brand, your products, and your organization.
